The provisions of this
chapter shall be administered by the public employee retirement system board
without liability on the part of the state, or of any of its officers, beyond
the moneys in the public employee retirement account for the purposes of
chapter 14, title 72, Idaho Code, and the moneys accruing thereto. It shall be
the duty of the board to administer the account and conduct the business
thereof, and the board is hereby vested with full authority over the account,
and may do any and all things which are necessary or convenient in the
administration thereof as provided or as consistent with the provisions of
this chapter and the general laws of the state.
